Lovely experience at LaFortune Park. There were so many squirrels and lots of shade and places to sit. There was heaps of scenic views for picnics as well. The park is well maintained and there is a trail and walking paths

Great place to golf. Awsome par 3 course, 2 putting greens, 2 chipping greens, and driving range. The course was well taken care of when we were there and was rather fun to play. The shops are clean, have a variety of items, and the prices are very reasonable.

Wonderful park to visit with the family. Nice walking/running trail. Pavilions with grills perfect for picnics and parties as well as other park events

Went to go play with our grandson and feed the ducks on Saturday, 23 August 10:00 AM… There are two people sleeping and camped out with their gear on a concrete picnic table where we were going to sit. I know every tax paying citizen has a right to enjoy the park. This was a temporary homeless camp. I called the office to report it, spoke with a young lady that told me that “nobody was working today” not about the time a guy was driving up on a gator four wheeler that worked there… I told her there is somebody working because he’s pulling up right now I we’ll just speak with him… He tried to pass the buck and say he needed to talk to a supervisor and I said well you’re gonna pass right by that table one if you just politely ask them to move on, this is not a homeless camp… Really getting tired of people passing the buck and seeing the homeless population grow and encroach on everybody that’s trying to live peacefully…

Great place to sit back and watch the kids play. Occasionally you will get the thugs and trouble makers but a lot less than any other place we’ve ever been with our 6yr old. We prefer this park over all others. Our son always finds a friend to play with and the people that are there with their children are usually very nice and friendly towards us and our son. We’ve met families there and ended up going to lunch or dinner all together so our children could continue to play together. I highly recommend this park for yourself, for your children and relaxation.
