Beautiful Park, beautiful scenery. I felt compelled to write here to make parents of small children aware of the restroom situation. We visited on November 2, so all the restrooms are evidently closed for the season with the exception of one. It was filthy, covered in trash, and the toilet was overly clogged, full of human waste and toilet paper, and not flushable. We have a potty trained toddler, and I wouldn't let her near it. We opted to leave the park early in search of a bathroom at the nearby Starbucks, grocery store, or restaurant.

Beware the goose poop! This park is pretty but there is goose poop everywhere, and lots of ducks and geese to be seen in early December. I came to walk my dog and we both had to wash our feet when we got home. If your dog is a poop eater like mine, I would not recommend this park! Pic of said poop-eater:

Nice place for kids and lake access. Huge playground. It gets crowded so try not to visit on weekends.

The park is nice place to relax with family. There are nice tables, barbecue area, dense grass cover to lie on, ducks marching and swimming around, and even one white goose! People were swimming in the lake in wetsuits, so I presume the water is cold. But on the shore water was warm enough to step into it barefoot. Sunset view is really beautiful from this park.

My favorite park but a bit overpopulated geese and ducks make some mess there so be careful with walking barefoot. Restrooms usually clean, same with picnic and barbecue area.
