Lake Park is a rather large (4.75 acre) neighborhood park right off Main Street. It was parking on 2 of the 3 sides at no cost and backs up to another park called Farquhar. No restrooms without reservation so plan accordingly if you don't live nearby. Drinking fountains are here and kept in decent condition. This park has large grassy fields, horseshoe pits, BBQs with reservation, community room for rent with reservations, hosts regular yoga classes and has a large playground with sand area and a boy scouts cabin for our local Chapters. The paths are great for walking dogs or getting some exercise. The playground has a large sandpit surrounding the swings including two infant swings and 2 large and 2 large concrete climbing structures. The playground is broken into 2 main pieces. The largest included 3 slides of varying sizes, monkey bars and assorted ladders, a pole, and stairs for climbing. The smaller one is likely intended for smaller children with its 2 slides and various ladder type access points. Overall it was not very busy but after school time the park picks up significantly. Additionally, when the park is host to organized activities it can get rather chaotic.

Such a great and joyful atmosphere, open space with lots of green, area to walk around, playground, tennis, lots of benches, areas for picnic. It’s just a joy to be there. The neighborhood is also amazing. Quiet and wide streets.

Went to Lake Park for a Huntington Beach high school all class reunion with my sister. Great venue, love the clubhouse to help with food and sign in. They really need to work on their landscape. Keep up. I would try TOLLY.

Great park, great atmosphere. Brought my dog n she probably had more fun than I did. At least 8 other dog owners were there and all the pets were nice. Great place to bring the family n let ur kids decompress.

Love Lake Park! The log cabin in the middle belongs to the Boy Scouts of America and is over 100 years old! The play equipment is in good condition, and the park is surrounded by vintage homes with beautiful architecture! There are tons of grass and plenty of trash cans, so be sure to pick up after your dog!
