Lake Parker Park

Great park to get a little nature fix. There's a lot of wildlife to see and some beautiful views. We love walking the paths in the morning. There's also a lot of amenities like a playground for kids, picnic spots and pavilions, and a disc golf course.

Lake Parker Park offers a quieter, more natural side of Lakeland. This is where you go when you want open space, wildlife, and a slower pace. The park feels expansive, with long views of the lake and plenty of room to spread out. Fishing piers, walking paths, and picnic areas make it versatile without feeling crowded. Wildlife sightings are common, adding to the sense that this is a place where nature still has a strong presence. It’s less polished than some other parks, but that’s part of the appeal. Lake Parker Park feels honest and grounded—a place for reflection, not spectacle. If you’re looking for calm, space, and a genuine connection to Florida’s natural landscape, this park delivers.

A great part great place to bring your kids bathrooms are actually clean which is amazing for Polk county ample parking all through the park very friendly animals they're so used to people they pretty much come up and sit on your foot plenty of shade for parking. Walking path is awesome frisbee golf volleyball horseshoes lawn bowling bracket racquetball courts plavion rentals

Park has a beautiful lake great fishing nice facilities and plenty of pavilions for whatever occasions you may have.

Nice park with walking trails, but beware... when they say the gates are closing at 6pm... the gates are closed, locked and do not have automatic gate openers, so no exiting! You have to find someone that works there to unlock the gate so you can get out.
