Nice place to hang with the family and kids. We went on a Friday so not overly crowded but a decent amount of people. There is no shade or seating on the beach part so bring your own. There's a little playground area, and covered seating nearby, along with a kayak rental place and fishing, bathrooms, etc. My kids had a great time in the water and on the beach, and they can walk out and swim without worrying about random drop-offs in the water.

Easily accessible with ample parking. The trail the trail is smooth and easy to navigate. A great option for those with mobility issues as there are ample benches to sit. Dog friendly with multiple rest stations. The park has fishing piers and receptacles for used hooks and lines. There is a playground, picnic tables, and open space allowing longer stays. There is a small Beach where one can enjoy the cool water on a hot summer's day. The only downside is the lack of trees which act as a cover from the sun and a wind break in the cooler months.

It’s a nice small park with small beach area. Pet friendly. You can also go fishing, go kayaking and canoeing. Bathrooms are clean. Love that they have family bathrooms. It can get crowded.
