Amazing park Lake Wichita Park really is, especially how huge the lake really is, especially, there is more to do around the park, especially going up on that top Mountain Hill, to ride your bike or sanchez. Lake Wichita Park is a must-visit? For anyone who wants to exercise, explore around the park, or have a relaxable time, plus the lake is way more bigger than the one in Lawton.

I love this park. I like being around water, there are swinging benches and new trails, all sorts of wildlife! Most days, it is pretty quiet. Lots to do, plenty of parking, covered picnic tables, the Veterans Memorial sitting area. The only drawback is the one stall public toilet is closed all winter! UGH!

Great park for most of your "park" needs. Playground for the kiddos, running/biking trail. Boat pier. "Beachy" shore (though i would not recommend getting in the water, least you develop some infection). Restroom in a not-so-private little hut. Nice, big, seating/party section for your party picnic needs. Be careful with spiders and spider webs. Lots of parking. Couldn't find any water fountains. And even if there was, I'm not sure I would risk drinking from it, given the history of this town. But good little park for most of your outdoor needs

Oooh was it cold! Felt like 24 degrees with the windchill but this was a nice trail to do. Was Able to do an intermittent walk 1mi/run 1mi with total of 10miles. Very nice color on the trees throughout the park. I Had a blast and have been coming to visit family for several years but never took the time to actually get out and take a nice run/walk at the parks available. Glad I did this time around.
