Beautiful area with marked trail around lake. Trail actually starts down at covered picnic area; White marker on trees. Trail has a lot of indigenous AR stones as part of the path, so watch your footing. There is a service road where parking is and that may be an option to walk with less stones, easier to walk. Pet poop bags not provided so bring your own poop bags and trash cans are at covered picnic area.

A fairly easy 2 mile hike that can be cut a little short if you follow the shore, about 1/3 into the hike the trail splits go left for a 1.7 mile hike and right for a 2 mile hike. Rocky but not at all steep. Lots of pretty scenery. Not crowded, good sized pavilion and parking 8 to 10 depending on how people park.

Wow. What a little hidden gem! Lake Wilson is gorgeous and secluded, but only 15 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. There is an amazing hiking path that goes all the way around the lake. The water is very clean and you can fish and/or swim. They even have a cool pavilion tucked into the woods if you want to have a gathering or party. This is not an actual Dog Park (which is what I googled - and this place was a result - happy mistake!). But it is way better if you're dog is good off leash.

This is NOT a dog park but it is very dog-friendly. There are several creeks to go looking for crawfish. Tons of photogenic locations around the lake. There are many wildflowers I hadn’t seen before that were so very pretty. It seems like you can go around the entire trail and still have some view of the lake. I will be going back!

Nice lake with well marked dirt trail that hugs the lake. There is a pavilion on site, a boat ramp, and plenty of peace and quiet. There is only one entrance/exit accessible via a dirt road
