This park has a nice playground and reasonably sized field. This could be a nice park to take the kids for a shorter visit. There is enough room to throw a ball, play Frisbee or run around. They have a small grass hill below the playground that would be fun to sled in the winter.

When I grew up in this neighborhood in the 80s, this was an elderly woman's property. Where the play structure is was her home. We played in those woods daily, and when we'd play football on the field she would bring out sodas for each of us. I imagine the neighborhood was farm land when she moved in and the dense suburbs grew around her property. And it seemed she loved to have a wide open space for the neighborhood kids to play. A younger family member would chase us off the property when they would visit, so I was surprised to see that this wasn't eventually turned into another culdesac. I wonder if she stipulated that her land become the official playground of the neighborhood. That's how I'd like to remember it. Also, when I was 10 I released a turtle I had into the creek there (it was the 80s - a kid gave me a turtle and I didn't know how to care for it. Did my parents even know?) I couldn't believe the playground had a giant turtle structure. The photo is of the old tree in which we built a tree fort. You can amazingly still see the ladder we built.

Lovely little neighborhood park. Very well kept and a great place for kids parties and gatherings (pre covid). Also, features a little trail on the one side.

A much needed open green space for those whose tiny backyard is little more than a restroom for their canine companion. The playground is pretty big and in good condition. There's a nice walking trail...a little small but nice nonetheless. There are even picnic tables tucked away in the trees if you want to enjoy lunch outside when it's not raining. Let me know when that happens and I might join you. It's never busy or crowded. Perfect for tossing a football around, too.
