There are coyotes present at the base of the park. One sprung from tall grass toward my off-leash dog. I met a hiker who showed me how his dog was attacked three weeks ago by a group of four. Use caution!

Not a park. A virtually unmaintained, gopher infested empty lot. The city shows up once a year to mow the waist high weeds, but that's it. When the neighbors try to set up play structures, the city removes them. When the neighbors use the empty area to park, the city puts boulders in the way. Nice view if you climb up the nearby hill, but watch your ankles on the way up.

Santa Barbara has some of the best parks I have ever been to. The old growth trees are amazing. I love hanging out with friends and family, relaxing in the shade enjoying the wonderful California central coast weather. I feel very blessed to live here. If visiting be sure to literally stop and smell the roses!

This is a neighborhood park with no amenities; there are gopher holes. There is a baseball backdrop but no play structure there's not really anything for kids to do. There is a short hike which is kind of fun but other than that it's not really worth a stop.

Beautiful and tranquil park with a nice bench at the top of the hill.
