We visited the Christmas lights display while in town with family and had an wonderful time walking around and admiring the eclectic menagerie of illuminated fauna! Even though the place was busy, it's big enough that it didn't feel crowded. You can skip the long line of cars and park in the municipal center lot. $2 a head gets you a ride on little train, which my kiddo LOVED!

Nice sized park with a good amount of walking trails. This place is also very popular with Pokemon Go community days and festivals. A lot of players come here. The park itself has the amphitheater within, although it is fenced off to control entry and usually closed. There are playgrounds here for the kids. Also duck ponds that are fenced off, and most ducks. But also some nice trails that are interesting to walk around with the pond, and other attractions such as historical items and art. Giving it a 5, but beware I never saw any yeah cans or bathroom facilities

Somehow the city of Layton keeps up the effort and the energy every year. The sidewalk fairs in summer. The incredible holiday light display every winter. And when I walk through the holiday lights every year, there is never a letdown. In fact it seems to have grown. City of Layton likes to throw a party for we the people, and you can count on it.

Went to the Christmas light display for the 1st time!! It was amazing!! Walking thru is definitely a must!!! I LOVE how some of the displays have interactive sound buttons for the little ones to push!! This will definitely become a new family tradition!!

Excellent park! Multiple playgrounds, a duck pond, an amphitheater, a snack stand, walking paths, and more. There's plenty to do, the area is beautifully laid out and well maintained, and it's very easy to access.
