We were excited to try the newly fenced area. Nice size. Dog crap EVERYWHERE, inside/outside fence and parking area 🤨. Deep holes throughout large dog area. Was notified by another patron with 4 gray/white doodles the whole purpose of the fenced area was to leave all the gates open, which led to a rather unpleasant exchange. Unfortunately won’t plan on going back.

Ignore old reviews, this park is now nicely fenced. A side for big dogs, and one for small dogs. There’s a water pump near the entrance, and buckets to fill up for them to drink from. Lots of space for the puppies to run around. There are a small number of chairs. There’s a port-a-potty. Dog poop bags provided. Cons: no shade at all, no benches, deep in the park, hard to search for on GPS

It's a nice big area for the dogs to run. It needs benches for the pet parents to sit on and some shade would be nice. There are 3 chairs placed inside the large dog side that were being used but I wasn't sure if those were brought by the people that were sitting in them or not. There isn't much for the dogs to do so bring your toys. There is a water spicket for water and a Porta potty for facilities. Lots of grass for now. If you are not familiar, the dog park is inside Wyco Lake and by the Archery range and Shelter 16 .

It's a nice big grassy area. However it would be nice if it were blocked off from the woods and main road. Also there is a water trench there that is an injury-prone issue that fires from one end of the park to the other. They attempted to close it off but didn't properly finish it. So it is a Hazzard. Other than that, it's a good space for the dogs to run around.

A nice big open grassy bowl but that's about it. Whet here at noon on a Saturday and there were no other dogs here. If you're looking for more dog socialization and a lake make the trip up to Shawnee Mission dog park. Also this dog park is right next to an archery range, not sure that's the best combination
