The dogs loved it! Most dogs were off leash so would not be a great place to bring an unfriendly / reactive dog. The walk to the beach does get covered in water and slippery during tides so be careful.

Great park for dogs! Make sure you time your visit with low tide. An hour or two off of low tide you will have to walk through some water to get to the beach.

We LOVE the dog beach and visit regularly. We love it for paddleboarding, Shelling, swimming, playing with our pup, of course, nice sand, out of the wind mostly, good parking and a wash off station for my dogs. My only complaint is that all the boaters have discovered this little cove and come blast music and get in the way so you have way less space for dogs now and cannot have a relaxing, serene, listen to the water and waves beach day with your dog and literally no where else to take them. I really wish the boats would go away. You have one million beaches to enjoy around here. We have ONE. Sorry, I love kids too, but there are a million other kid beaches. If you don't want dogs running around your kids or through (*I kid you not) your PICNIC (on a DOG beach), please, for all of our sakes, go to any other beach. Throw a rock 100 yards any direction and go there. Please let us have one tiny strip of sand we can enjoy with our dogs.

Loved Bonita Springs Dog Beach. Lots of beach area with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. One of the County residents told me that aggressive dogs are strictly forbidden, which eased my concerns of possible dog fights. Our pup had a great time playing with the other dogs. No amenities other than a dog wash area and portable toilets, so bring all of your own necessities for your dog.

Great little beach. Plenty of space for the dogs to run in the sand and play in shallow water. It will tire them out for sure! Good vibe there. Everyone friendly, music playing, easy to park. Go enjoy yourself.
