It is a beautiful park but pickle ball court is occupied by specific group almost every morning even Saturday. Other people can't play it since this court becomes for basketball afternoon. A new policy may be required to play up to once or twice a week for the same group.

Large parking lot, bathrooms. Not much shade - it is all the awnings no shade from trees on playground. One large climbing structure with slide you must climb up to, one for smaller kids. One big climbing Merry go round, three single person spinners, one cage spinner for one to two kids. It also has sport fields. One disk swing.

We liked to come to this park a lot but these last months there are many people smoking marijuana and drinking in the areas, it should have an area outside for those people to smoke their plant. Nona all people like to smell that yerba even the bathrooms smell a lot, the groups of men who are going to play are mostly smoking their plant near the cars even near the children They should have a little more control in that aspect since it is a family area and there is no control of any smoke their plant and they consume alcohol in the areas the bathrooms are disgusting on weekends

First class soccer fields. This park just recently opened. It has two soccer fields, one grass and one turf. The fields are in great shape. There shaded stands on each side of the park with no stands in between the fields. The stands are set up for you to use your own chair. There is a very nice playground for the younger kids to play on the west side. Fields are reservation only. On the north side of the fields is some exercise equipment for adult use. There's also a basketball ball court. The restrooms are also on the west side and are kept clean and there's tons of parking. Only downside is that it is right next to the Los Alimitos horse racetrack and it smells like it.

Google Maps User, if you have found my review and information about Lexington Park to be helpful, please give a like and follow me for further reviews on various places. Have a great day. Enjoy. And, "Google it, GOOD." The park is a quiet place, overall. Though it is found by a busy street, and I am here on an early afternoon Tuesday, I think it would be a nice place to have a picnic or barbecue. (See photos of one barbecue grill found on south end of aground area.) WATER FOUNTAIN As of today --August 23, 2022-- water fountain near playground is not in service. BUT... There are water fountains and water bottle refill station located near restrooms; which are found on the northwest portion of the park premises. The fountains here appear to be the ones that have such an attachment for dogs made. This would not only be helpful for dog owners, but to keep the dog owners from trying to get water for their dogs from the fountain portion that kids and adults drink from. VEHICLE PARKING Finding a parking spot on a busy, event day/night may prove to be a little difficult. From my estimates, there would be a shortage of parking spots if there were a full on game --or TWO!-- taking place for the team players and a full host of friends and family in attendance. Additionally, there are sapling trees planted in various places throughout the parking lot. There are no full-grown trees to provide shade to any vehicles. WISEST PARKING TIP If you are here in the late afternoon, I would venture to guess that the best spot to park at would be on the east side. Shade should be thrown to that area of the parking lot from the seating structures located nearby. VIDEO OF FIELD Foreground shows fake turf soccer field. In distant background, grass turf shown on field. Along the outer edges, past the seating area of the soccer field, there is a running path that is probably made from recycled tire pieces. Is that rubber kind of path. PARK ADJACENT There is some facility --horse stables from the nearby horse racetrack-- to the south and east of the park premises. I am unsure as to the layout and setup. There are sounds of horses and chickens that can be heard. EXERCISE EQUIPMENT Other than the track that has its course on the outer permiter of the two soccer fields, there is a number of exercise equipment to be found in the south side of the park premises, divided I to two sections --on to the east, and one to the west-- behind each soccer field I have submitted photos of about half of the equipment found --the portion on the west side. There will be the photo of the equipment, a photo of the instructions and muscle group being trained will be included. (Sorry. Did not visit the east side equipment.) It would be great for the exercise equipment that I am referring to here, be covered with a canopy of sorts to keep the equipment from becoming unbearably heated under the mid-day sun.
