Nice to have some more green space in New Brunswick. This park is a welcome respite in a built up part of the city. There are plenty of stone chunks to sit on with pretty native planting. It is definitely designed for events as there is a large open area along Neilson St with amphitheater type seating (stones) facing it. There are 2 dog parks at the top. The only human recreation is a slide. I hope they add tables for dining. There is no shade (a few trees have been planted).
This park has been built on top of a site found to have asbestos. Warnings sign about asbestos were previously posted before construction. That's why it took soo long to design and build this park. Be wary when bringing your dogs and kids.
