A great place to let your dog run and play. Usually not busy at any time I have visited. Probably because most folks opt to take the walking trails. Poop bags are available and there is one trash can and one recycling bin.

I like bringing my dogs here so they can run. My dogs are very protective when it comes to me and when I bring them here to run they are normally the only dogs at this dog park and that is nice. This has to be one of the bigger dog parks in Sioux Falls. There is a picnic bench so when it's warmer I can get lunch and let my dogs run while I eat. I would recommend this dog park to anyone with semi aggressive or aggressive dogs. The people understand when you tell them you have aggressive dogs they are great about waiting so your dogs can run also.

This is a nice size dog park, but in dire need of investment. There is little available for any other activities. There is only one small fire hydrant for the dogs to sniff or use. The worst part about this park is that it is so rough. 75% of the grass that was originally planted had died, so it’s mostly dirt and weeds. Also, they did a poor job picking up rocks when they seeded it, so there are many sharp and jagged rocks throughout the play area. In some spots it’s just gravel. The city prides itself on having quality parks, but this one falls so short and so much more improvement could be had. With such a large space in a part of town they needs dog park, they’d be better to split it into two areas for small and large dogs. Also, work on resettling the turf and eliminating the unlimited amount of rocks.

Fully fenced dog park. Has trash and bags. No water. No shade. Has benches and table.
