Very nice trails, cool railroad tracks. Did get stung by a bee once, so be careful. Sweet view of downtown Saint Paul

Beautiful park with hiking/biking trails and a spacious covered picnic area.

Beautiful open space! Truly defines what a park should be! Enjoy nice open space with lots of grass. Great place to take the kids (young & young-at-heart). Also a nice spot to get away from downtown without having to go to far! And also nice for big outdoor events! Like the Red Bull Flugtag! (See pics)

My dog was mauled today, Sun Nov 30 @11:30. I’ve been taking my dog to this dog park for years and she plays and has never had the slightest problem with any dog ever. She was at the fence and smelled a dog coming in so I need to keep her away from the entrance but the dog immediately mauled her, the owner had to pull her dog off, she had my dogs head in her jaw. My dog doesn’t even bark she is the sweetest submissive dog and she has cuts all over her face and eye, the other eye is swollen and a bleeding gouge on the top of her head. Just Horrific and that female owner didn’t say a single word, just allowed her dog to scurry off into the park. It’s a shame. That dog should not be allowed in any dog park ever. Nothing against the park specifically but I hope this owner happens to see this post and stays away. I would have confronted her but was too worried and wanted to get my dog away. Completely unprovoked attack.

Nice quiet midsized dog park. Great mix of wooden and field areas. Large parking lot, also near boat ramp for a quick rinse if needed.
