This is the BEST little park in Quincy Illinois to take your kids to play! The turf is a nice flat rubber-like surface that is hard enough to run on but soft enough your kids won't get hurt if they trip and fall. No woodchips, rocks or sand! There is so much play equipment to choose from and there is a skate park right next door! My 4 year old son LOVES going to Lincoln Park!

My kids favorite park. We love the swings and the squishy play mat instead of wood chips or rocks.

I'm not originally from the Quincy area. When I first moved here, I was immediately impressed with the amount of public parks this city has. There are plenty of great options to choose from, but Lincoln Park is easily our favorite park. My wife and I love that there are NO wood chips!! The playground area has a surface that seems to be a rubbery turf. It has a pretty fun play area too that keeps our kids entertained for a while. We recently reserved this park to host our daughter's birthday party, and she had a great time! There is a covered area with plenty of tables for sitting, and the kids had plenty of space to run around, play, and have fun. Everyone seemed to have a really great time. If you're looking for an affordable option for hosting a party or get together for young kids (there was a $40 fee to reserve the space), or if you're just looking for a place to let your kids burn off some energy, Lincoln Park is something to consider.

Awful experience here yesterday! We are a mixed race family, and there were younger children at this park, who happened to be white, yelling all sorts of swear words and racial slurs, including the N word! And the only adults ("parents" I assume) obviously smoking weed at nearby park benches, with smoke blowing towards the playground! Unacceptable in a public space for children!!! There were no cops & no park district personnel on site, we were forced to leave for the safety of our 6 year old, and we won't be back! How unfortunate, because the playground itself seemed to be well kept. Shame on this community for allowing such racism and poor public conduct to exist here! Stay away!

Nice clean park. Great view of the river and plenty for the kids to do!
