It's a nice park very dog friendly but you have to have your dog on a leash at all times. But you have to watch out because not all dog owners will pick up their dog poop. Unfortunately you're going to find that just about everywhere dogs are allowed. There's a nice playground and trees for shade so you can have a little picnic with your family under it. No barbecues and bathrooms are only open Monday through Friday during the school week.

Great park for any activity. Large grass area for sports or running around with the dogs. Play area for the kids as well. Not much shade so if you are going to stay awhile bring an umbrella or something similar.

This park is neglected more than any field/park in Costa Mesa. We just started AYSO soccer practice and games on this field, what a mess. The person I spoke with at the Public Services Department said now that we are done with rain the field will be mowed on a regular basis.

Great toddler park but stomach bug afoot.

Did you know there is a huge buried municipal water tank under the field? Go stand by the vent structures and you can hear it's subterranean vastness echoing...
