Quick! Get to Lone Lake Park to take in the most colorful Fall Leaves & trees in town. Nice couple of hills to get your heart pumping and to remind yourself to take the stairs. It was a chilly and overcast day but worth it.

A beautiful place to take a walk to clear your head or bring others to have some fun!

Fun mellow place to take the kiddos! The park has lots of space, open fields and different courts. They have pickle ball, tennis and basketball courts! Would recommend for everyone!

Beautiful park with native trees and plants in forest, prairie and fresh meadow around Lone Lake. Native and migratory songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors with uncommon nesting birds. Spring ephemeral wildflowers, American lotus, many pollinators including butterflies, dragon- and damselflies, and rusty-patched bumblebee. Recent addition of pickleball courts tore out trees and other pollinator habitat; proposed new trail construction will fragment habitat, compact the soil, remove trees and plants, and damage others; wildlife will be displaced and erosion will degrade the park.

Mountain bike trails are great for the most part, but mud and sand develop very quickly. Some tight corners are very slippery and it’s very easy to slide out in the fast sections, especially if you have XC race tires on your bikes.
