This is a big park, very quiet area and very serene. Most of it however seems dedicated to the golf course. There is a skate park for skaters and a dog park for dogs, but as mentioned most of the greenery is reserved for the private golfing.

Great pump track for everyone. It's not too aggressive and flows easy with speed able to to be gained easily. Wherever we go there are all ages, bikes, skateboards, scooters and everyone gets along beutifly.

The Los Altos Park, the most recent "crown jewel" for Albuquerque is the least accessible park of all Albuquerque facilities. The dog park has zero accessibility parking, and is up against I-40 with zero sound barriers making it impossible to have a conversation or even call your dog. No wonder it's always empty. The "make the homeless too uncomfortable to stick around" design is extremely effective. Zero shade, zero protection from the elements, and the water comes out of the fountain with such force dogs are scared to drink out of it. I understand why the homeless encampments are absolutely not an issue at Los Altos, I don't want to be there either. Congratulations! Tax dollars spent on a great idea that was executed with what we are all learning is typical failure. It made a nice photo shoot though. Why doesn't Albuquerque start putting the necessary resources into affordable housing and housing vouchers to prevent homelessness, get people housed **and then** work towards sobriety, so we can all start enjoying the parks Albuquerque used to have restrooms, shaded picnic areas, and **families** at?

You can see that many kids adults and those that refuse to age have had more than there fair share of fun here. It's a lil aged but still fun . One of my favorite parts about every skate park is how it has changed with time. This is a prime ex of that. You can almost picture the epic days that had been had here. I am sure that every time I visit new Mexico it won't be complete without a visit to this gem!!

We went here as part of a Self Guided Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul Filming Location Tour. There was some artistic graffiti.
