Great trai above the hills of Thousand Oaks. Starts at the south end of Moorpark rd, where there's a parking lot. Dogs allowed. But it seems like lots don't clean up after their dogs. Trail meets up with several other trails if you'd like to travel more. But it's approximately 2 miles until you hit a bench where you can stop and rest, and another mile or so to the junction of the next trail. Great views of Thousand Oaks from the hill, and the communication towers up on the hill.

It's the best hiking trail with your dogs!! There's a lot of shade, and the paths are nice after the rain. We started from the other side of the trail ( it's the tail, I think), which is covered by trees and plants, so even if it's sunny afternoon, it's still cool for my golden retriever. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite place to hike! If you are a beginner then go ahead and do half of the trail. There are water fountains, a bunch of signs so you don’t get lost, there are benches on the top of the mountain, great parking too! I definitely recommend going there! And there’s also a wonderful view on The Oaks Mall!

Went there on June 14th. The weather was nice. This trail is good for beginners. I have some medical issues and been trying to get out more to work on my health and was recommended this hike. I went to the far end and hiked where their is wood railing. Its about a mile hike round trip from the start to the end of the wood railing. It has a lot of trees that gives you a lot of shade while walking. My wife, daughter, the dog and myself went on this hike and it is a pretty simple hike. There is a lot of seating area along the way if you get tired. No water attractions on this hike.

One of my favorite places to go. In certain parts it does feel like your in a fairy tale. Such as Sherwood Forest. Short but Beautiful!
