Absolutely wonderful state park to visit. Park staff is phenomenal and extremely helpful! Entry fee is minimal, especially when you look at everything you can experience! From hiking trails, what seems like a private beach that's excellent for shelling, to kayaking - this park is a true hidden gem in the Ft. Myers/Bonita Springs area. Arrive early because parking fills quickly, and as of this post, hours of operation are 8 am to sunset. I'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our adventure there at lover's key State Park! If you're a veteran with a disability rating, you should be able to get in free! There are trails there to icon. There's a beautiful beach and it's just a great place to relax!

Beautiful white sandy beach with plenty of room for everyone. Brought my own lunch and after time in the sun I walk the 2 mile black island path which was very well marked, an easy walk, full of birds, and very peaceful on the day I was there.

We took our bikes around the bike paths and all the roads leading to the beach. The black trail all around was a pretty good park to get around. We loved it on road off-road on the beach on the trails. Nice off the beaten path place to go it away from the city.

Awesome beach that is huge. Parking is somewhat limited here. Can walk easy trails for a few miles. Can fish off the bridges to the beach. Park Rangers patrolling regularly. Nice place to go for the day or just a few hours.
