Our 6 month old pittie is quite a handful and needs lots of stimulation, so a day without mom and dad while they’re at work full time can make him a little restless. Since taking him to Mike at Lucky Dogs, Chopper gets constant love and attention thru the day and has made new besties. Now he can’t wait to go to day care every morning where he can just be a puppy. He not only sleeps better in general because he is so tuckered out from an exciting visit, but he seems more loving when we get home from picking him up as if he can’t wait to tell us all about his day. This has given us so much peace knowing Chopper is making friends and learning with others and playing all day instead of waiting at home bored for us to get home. He needed a little something extra and this was such a perfect fit for him. This is an easy 5 star rating and I wish I could submit it more than once.

Couldn’t be happier with this establishment. We have used a few different places to board our dog and they don’t compare to Lucky Dog. Mike is always patient and friendly with Ollie plus Ollie never comes home smelling bad like the smells that come with a lot of other boarding areas.

Lucky Dog is extremely clean and cozey. It has more of a homey feeling rather than a kennel. You can tell the owner truly cares about your pet and their care. My dogs get their own bed and absolutely love it there!

Lucky Dog in Quincy, IL has been a fantastic experience for my dogs. They are always thrilled to arrive and greet the owner with excitement, which speaks volumes about the care they receive. When I pick them up, they’re calm and content, indicating they’ve had a fulfilling day. The staff’s professionalism and genuine affection for the animals are evident, making it a trustworthy place for both daycare and overnight stays.

Lucky Dog goes out of their way to take care of your pup. Stella is a frequent visitor as I have to travel without her at times. She can't wait to go as soon as we turn into the driveway and so excited to see Mike, she doesn't even look back to say goodbye! And worn out when I pick her up
