It's a really big park, super beautiful and really nearly kept! It's got tons of things for the family and everyone to do! Disc golf course, kids playground, camping grounds and trails for hiking and exploring the cool scenery and plants! Got to see some new plants I've never seen in person before while walking, but definitely take big spray! The falls and water are really neat and pretty with a cool yet spooky bridge to walk across and check out.

Lucy Park is a hidden gem in Wichita Falls — peaceful, spacious, and full of charm. Whether you’re looking to take a quiet walk along the trails, enjoy a picnic by the river, or let the kids run wild on the playground, this park has something for everyone. The suspension bridge adds a unique touch and makes for some great photos. It’s also well-maintained and perfect for spotting wildlife or just getting some fresh air. Highly recommend visiting, especially around sunset — the views are beautiful!

Caveat cyclers (and others who might be tempted by the "lawns") - We aren't from the area but stopped here for a respite from our road trip to see the man-made falls and bike the trails. While my partner moved our rig to a safer-feeling spot (the main lot had lots of idling vehicles but few people getting out), I walked our bikes across the 'grass' to meet him. This was a mistake. The grass is loaded with thorns (likely sandspurs). After spending 30 minutes carefully picking spikes out of our tires and shoes, we biked the short distance to the falls only to find them broken, with a large chunk of the leading edge missing. To top it off, I woke up to two flat tires this morning. The park does have a frisbee golf course, but hopefully, it doesn't have the same thorn issue. Proceed with caution!

We are visiting from out of town but every time we visit this park my kids have the best time. They have life size dino fossils in a sand pit and I think that's my kids favorite spot besides the monkey bars. The waterfall is very nice also. We took a hike to see it in the park. Very nice park.
