This place is awesome! Today we went there, we visited the bees, such a great experience. we learnt about the bees and their jobs, and we got to see the bees up close plus their hives, they also have such a beautiful forest preserve and a room with animals that are the cutest! The kids enjoyed their time and learnt tons of new information! 100% recommending it. To add the Staff is super helpful and actually know what they are doing and teaching the kids! Super friendly and cooperative.

Beautiful trail both paved and unpaved areas. They have a honeybee farm as well that was pretty interesting to see. Aside from trail they also have a beautiful visitor center with activities for kids.

Beautiful preserve! Really quiet and serene despite being tucked in a busy area. Some parts of the trail on the eastern side of the preserve near Midwestern University are pretty overgrown, but most of the trails were well-maintained and diverse from dirt paths in the woods, to boardwalks, to paved paths.

Lyman Woods & nature preserve is a nice place they have bike trails, nature trails, and a learning center inside of their green building. There's a butterfly area and bee hives that you can check out close up.staff, and volunteers were friendly and helpful. There's there seems to be plenty of parking, but the lots are not all that large. It's located just north of Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. Nice way to spend some time with nature and outdoors.

Great place for a hike! They have a learning center with washrooms. No dogs allowed due to wildlife. Plenty of parking. Beautiful trees and wild flowers! Beautiful trails to walk on. It’s a gem in Downers Grove 🩷
