There's a beautiful orchard of young pear and apple trees here (off Dupont, just next to the dog park, at the bottom of a hill). They are being maintained by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board - a nationally recognized organization on the cutting edge of modern arboriculture. Expect to see these continue to thrive with each passing season and enjoy the bright, showy flowers that emerge as spring rolls into summer. These trees encourage pollinators like honey bees and butterflies to feed and reproduce. And, of course, we can look forward to some nice ripe apples come autumn. Come check it out. This orchard is awesome. Trees are awesome. Our parks are the best in the nation (cause they're awesome). The MPRB Forestry Dept is awesome.

An excellent park that parks parkily in all parklike park-parts. Park!

Beautiful park went through there on a Twin Cities bike tour

Good playground for small children and another for older children. The rec center is on the smaller side compared to others. Winter offers a lighted skating rink and warming house, nearby very large hill for sledding. Summer has good day camp programs for preschoolers. It also has 2 tennis courts, soccer/baseball field. Just on the other side of the park on Dupont is an off-leash dog park. Also walking distance to rose garden.

Clean, safe, beautifully kept. Playground equipment for toddlers on one side, and bigger kids on the other. Tiny picnic tables between. And benches for parents all around. Also a soccer field, baseball diamond and basketball court.
