When it's your first time on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Create-a-Park and you keep adding stuff in until the space bar is full. The proportions of almost everything is all wrong and theres just too much crammed in. Less is more... #1000skateparkchallenge #cementurians
I remember when I was in high school and I was working across the street at the city hall for a summer job and this skate park was being built. I believe it was in year 1999-2000. When it opened I got a chance to skate it with my friends. I got curious to see if this skate park was still around, happy to see it is.
Great place to take your kids. It's clean and safe. My son is just learning to skate so what comforted me the most was seeing how patient and encouraging the bigger kids were when he skated into their path. Almost from the start, I heard them offering him safety advice, like "don't lean back." I am definitely taking my son there again.
This place is a good idea. Good to See a bunch of kids out here, enjoying the place, having a good time. As far as a Skate Park goes, this place needs to be improved. I don't know who designed it, or what they were thinking. The place needs to be redone. The little bowl is literally a bowl. No flat. If it had maybe 10 feet of flat it would be great. But it doesn't. It has maybe a foot or two. Very hard to Skate. The rest of the park has steep banks. Everything feels too tight. Too cramped. Plus, it gets Crowded. Bottom line, this place is not bad, but not great. Worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood. Just keep your expectations low and have a good time!
Came here as I was passing through and had downtime. Great park, small but fun bowl to skate, and some fun transitions. There is a weird super low rail to grind, but no need to ollie. More like a slappy type of maneuver you want to do to get on the rail. Super low risk though, and great place to practice 50-50s, and feebles.
