Absolutely stunning—this area of South Mountain is truly breathtaking! The park has large pavilions, perfect for family gatherings, birthday parties, or simply enjoying a barbecue outdoors. Everything is well-maintained, from the clean restrooms to the neatly kept grounds. There are plenty of drinking fountains scattered throughout, and even a special dog faucet for our four-legged friends. The only minor downside is the occasional noise from the nearby shooting range, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. This park is ideal for families, pet owners, or anyone looking to spend a relaxing day outside in beautiful surroundings. Whether you’re hosting an event or just getting out of the house for fresh air and sunshine, it’s a welcoming, safe, and scenic spot that’s perfect for summer outings.

So down the street from where I live there's a park here in Phoenix and naturally I don't go anywhere without my body cam on and as I'm walking around the park I come across this lovely sight. My wife walks around this park by herself and she and I rarely see Black People anywhere near this place. So don't be puzzled when you see some of the things I express because as you can see the expression coming from others is quite evident.

Set right under South Mountain, this park has a wonderful play space for little and middle school kids. There are swings and obstacles to play in. The park has walkways that are lit and a place to play basketball too!

Don’t recommend. Cool playground but is covered with homeless people and loose dogs. My daughter was climbing to the very top of the playground and there was a homeless person sleeping up there.
