Sweet little park and basketball court. The playground seemed to be pretty popular with the kids, and the pinecones were great! 😆 The men's room seemed to have sprung a leak or had an overflow, but the women's bathroom was fine.

Needed a park to take my dog to while I was waiting for my family to finish their Dream Walk tour and this was the closest one that came up when I googled it. Although the park is located in a rundown, older part of Provo, near downtown, the park itself was well maintained and clean, fenced in to prevent children/pets from dashing out into the street and getting struck by a passing vehicle, and there was no one else at the park when I was there which was nice because I was able to allow my dog to play off leash for a half hour or so without any problems (although dogs are required to be on a leash at all times, I figured that since no one else was there, I’d be okay letting my dog run free and would’ve put his harness and leash on if anyone else showed up). One very minor criticism would be that there are no permanent garbage cans onsite but instead they have several of those heavy duty resin or plastic rolling garbage bins with attached lids like the ones you use at your house that you roll over to the curb on trash day so the garbage man can come by and dump it. I’ve never seen that at a public park before but I suppose it works and makes it much easier and less expensive to take out the trash. Also, I felt something pinching my skin underneath my T-shirt on my stomach and when I lifted my shirt to see what it was, I saw bee or wasp which bit me as I swiped it away. I don’t think it was able to fully penetrate my skin because it wasn’t really painful and the mark it left was too minimal to be a sting or even a full blown bite which was a relief for me. That may have been in part due to the way the trash cans are at the park, leading to bees or wasps inhabiting the area.

It's a fun little park. They had things for all ages (younger and older kids). They had a field for running and playing. Dogs are allowed on leashes. They also had picnic tables and I believe a restroom on the far end.

I love this park because it is usually pretty empty and it is fenced nearly the whole way around. With lots of toddlers this makes it easy to relax. The play structure is maybe geared towards kids who are a little older but my kids do fine. It has a big graduation field, good trees, a bathroom, basketball hoops and a pavilion. Pets are allowed of they are on a leash. The big mural wall and bench are a plus, too.

Always homeless people here. Every time I’m there, which is 2-3 times a week. There were homeless men right outside the bathroom. You can’t close the door for some reason, so we had to go to a nearby office building to borrow their restroom. It didn’t used to be this way. I used to live downtown SLC, so I know first hand how unhoused people obviously struggling with drugs can be extremely unpredictable. I’ll never feel safe at this park as long as these people are hanging around here. There are better places for them than a nice little family park.
