Manatee Island

Manatee Island Park is a beautifully kept, family-friendly park perfect for a day out. We had a celebration for our veterans, and I was impressed. park offers stunning views by the ocean, making it a serene and picturesque spot. It's also conveniently located across from great restaurants and shopping, so there's plenty to do nearby. Whether you're looking to relax, have a picnic, or enjoy the scenic surroundings, Manatee Island Park has it all. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking to enjoy a lovely day outdoors!

I have always enjoyed time on this little island. It just seemed a little more fun back many moons ago when it went by its original name of Rat Island. The paved perimeter pathway is nice for walking or bicycling.

Love manatee island ❣️❣️ just spent the afternoon with family the views are absolutely beautiful and lots of benches and seating for resting while walking taking in the view or having lunch . There are bars for exercise and play and the arena and stage area is really cool

This is not a city or county park. It is owned by a private entity who hires security guards who make up rules. I was literally beside bicyclers with e-bikes that can pedal. I was on a kick scooter with the motor disabled and kicking. The security guard tells me the e-bikes are fine but my kick scooter has to go. The rules clearly do not State anything about scooters. Logically as little kids use them all the time. This is not an equal application of rules. You cannot appeal to the county as it's not a county Park. The security guard was negatively vocal.

Didn’t see any manatees (wrong time of year) but this park is VERY clean and I was there with my one year old, appreciate that they had security. Felt very safe. I was street parked and they were keeping an eye on me as I loaded my kiddo up. I really appreciated that!
