Mandell Park is a vibrant community space that offers a little something for everyone. A robust volunteer group that gathers on Saturday mornings keeps the park in excellent shape. Stroll through at any hour and you'll often run into nature enthusiasts and vegetable lovers tending their plots. Check out the compost bins that are carefully managed and serve as a great teaching tool and local biodegradable waste management alternative to the landfill. October and April are music months in the park- come out to enjoy the evening and enjoy live entertainment.

This is such a cute community garden with shared garden plots, benches, a swing, and big open areas for dogs. On Saturday mornings volunteers gather to turn over the compost - neighborhood people can drop off their kitchen waste in the bins near the curb. Lots of attention is paid to the inclusion of native plants.

This is a very neat idea for people to grow vegetables and fruit together at the neighborhood park. It brings people together to talk about how to grow different varieties of fruits or vegetables. It closes the gap between people. It's a great start to create a harmonious community.

I wanted to take my mom to a floral park with lots of things growing and this place was just so ideal!! Tons of vegetables and flowers growing. Beautiful and is such an oasis. I wish they can expand this park and make it bigger. My only complaint is it’s not handicap friendly for strollers and the concrete path is not well kept . The garden however is well kept and beautiful. Bring bug spray! You will get bitten!

Lovely area to relax and reconnect with nature. The community garden is full of flowers, vegetables and herbs; it’s fun to walk around and see what people are growing.
