Good: very happy that the city was able to turn a useless dirt lot into a dog park for the people who live in the surrounding areas. before this opened, we had to either go to the USS Bullhead park by the VA or the Skyline park up Tramway. we have met many dog and human friends coming here every weekend. Bad: very disappointed that it's actually the dog OWNERS that are the worst part of the park. every time we go, there are so many piles of poop that are not picked up and we take it upon ourselves to pick up as much as we can while we're there. we always, ALWAYS watch our dogs and have bags ready so we can be clean, responsible, and respectful. if you cannot pick up after your dogs, you probably don't deserve to have dogs; that is one of the most basic signs of respect as a dog owner. another new development is owners allowing their dogs to dig large holes. if you are watching your dog actively destroy the park and you don't do anything about it, that is very disrespectful and irresponsible of you. it's dangerous for both dogs and humans for there to be large gaping holes in the ground in a public area. if a dog is running and sprains an ankle because of a hole that your dog has created, you should be ashamed of yourself to allow that to happen and not do anything to rectify the situation.

I think the main issue here is people want to come have lunch, relax or rest after exorcising so why did they place every bench and table out in the burning sun? This place needs to be rearranged. Does everybody want to sit on the dodo covered grass? Genius!

Almost no shade. Only half maintained. Nowhere to sit. No water spigot for the dogs. Not much but wood chips fenced in. Probably the worst dog park I've been to yet.

Kinda pathetic as far as dog parks go no water provided not enough mulch and a hole in the fence e
