It's small quite, huge field for dog lovers. (No fence) and plenty of cute benches and even a area to have a pic nic..
Love having this little park in the neighborhood! Always pleasant with great shade. I do wish the city would stay more up to date on the maintenance, though. Often there is a swing missing (as there was today) and this entire season much of the park that is usually mulched was overgrown by grass creeping in.
Pleasant green space surrounded by quiet streets. Not too crowded, but always a few kids on the monkey bars and some adults throwing a ball back and forth. There were even some hoop dancers practicing last time I walked by.
Some kids were playing kick ball, others on the swings, and slides. Met some nice mom's and dad's, while we chatted about our jobs and summer weather. Perfect night for a walk with my kids.
Nice spot to run your dog, have a picnic or barbecue or bring your kids to the playground. However, the little league sized ball field (it has a mound, though it's poorly-maintained) isn't playable beyond the infield: There's a crater in centerfield the size of a meteor, a drainage sinkhole down the leftfield line, and numerous hidden ankle-eaters scattered throughout the outfield.
