The staff from the city of Minneapolis did some tree trimmings which were far overdue today and I just want to say thank you for the excellent job that was done. The environment looks brighter and clearer and I dont have to pick up heavy branches that fall from the trees and take them to the back alley way by the garbage and then the staff that supposed to pick them up leaves them because I think they believe that I should cut them down. I didnt want to leave them there like I've noticed some ppl do and if it would have happened again I would have informed the city. Thank you for the great job everyone.

Great community resource!! From the Scenic byway to the children's playgrounds. I see people leaving poor reviews and all I have to say is they are clearly uninformed about the scale of their operations. It is selfish to think that your precious icy dog park comes before many of their other functions or that renting a public place should come so cheep (they have to pay for insurance, continuous cleaning and mowing as well as other maintenance and improvements). MPRB does a fantastic job!!!!

These guys want to charge a ridiculous amount of money for a TINY wedding ceremony in a PUBLIC park. If you only have 4 people at the wedding they make you buy an expensive ceremony permit along with a photography permit. This is ridiculous, why don't you have a picnic permit with that logic? It would be 4 people gathered in a park!? Well you're at it you should probably charge 4 people walking on a trail together. Wait... the park and recreation board wouldn't do that....because it's ridiculous. They're just money hungry and saw an opportunity to gouge their own residents.

I think the mpls park board is absolutely fabulous...we have one of the best park systems in the country and it keeps getting better. I need to share with you that on Theodore Wirth Pkwy...just down from McNair, someone is cutting the small pine trees for an X-mas tree. I just noticed the cut now, clearly for the 2017 Christmas season, but in this same grouping there was another cut a number of years ago. I was wondering if you could do to the small pine trees what was done on the University of MN campus. Pine trees were being cut down so they sprayed all of the small pines with a heavy scent so no one would want them in a dorm room. I think it time that the small pines on Theodore Wirth Pkwy be heavily sprayed...I think this a good deterrent. Tky

The maintenance of your dog parks in winter are a joke. It's solid ice and you can't put down salt, wood chips, rocks--anything? Why ask us to pay to use the parks if you aren't holding up your end?
