For family fun we love this place, especially the rodeos! We also love the pavilions for family gatherings, the playgrounds, and the walking trails. The park is big enough to explore but not so big you can't find your friends who are also at the park. It's also centrally located in the county and easy to get to.

Maury County Park is a wonderful spot for families, and the real magic shines brightest around the playground and the miniature train tracks. The playground sits in a perfect little pocket of the park — open, inviting, and full of room for kids to run, climb, and let their imaginations loose. Parents can relax while little ones explore, and the whole area has that classic, timeless feel that makes childhood memories stick. And just a short stroll away, the miniature train is the park’s crown jewel. There’s something so heartwarming — almost storybook-like — about watching that little engine roll along its tracks, bringing smiles to kids and a wave of nostalgia to adults. It’s the kind of simple, old-school fun that reminds you what community parks are meant to be. My only real complaint is the playground surfacing. The wood chips are a bit outdated and can be rough, even causing splinters if a child falls. And for kids with sensory sensitivities, especially those who don’t like wearing shoes, that texture can make the experience less enjoyable. A softer, more modern surface would take an already great playground and make it exceptional. Still, with its charming train rides and its spacious play area, Maury County Park remains a beautiful place to bring your family. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of the kind of simple joys that keep people coming back.

Beautiful park, super clean, tons of trails which most are handicapped accessible, a dog park and many playgrounds/swings. I love seeing all the nature. The pavilions were awesome and spread out throughout the park. 2 beautiful observation decks. I love the trains and tracks throughout the park. Nice clean restrooms too!

Hard to get to with a soccer team. Bus had to park at the top of hill. Also, all of the noise from the adjacent rec fields distract from the game.

Stopped here on our way to the start of VolState race to eat. Great park to hangout in. A lot of people walking and playing at the playground. Large shelters that will hold at least 100 people. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
