Maxi Park

Wow just wow so huge! My huskies did two entire laps! Water spigot on the north end was locked; only downside.

This place is great! It’s so big! I think it’s the biggest dog park I’ve ever been too they have a fence around it and two gates to get in so there’s no way your dog can get out.. if he’s a runner. There’s a walkway that goes all the way around a huge area of grass and I’ve met some really nice people here. It’s a cool place especially if you have big dogs that need to run! This is the spot!

It’s a lot bigger than I thought. 15 acres. Very good for dogs who stay close and listen. My dog is still learning and I had a really hard time having him come to me since he was like out of ear shot distance. They have a water bucket and a gazebo on the animal shelter side. 8/29/2022, yes it’s still open.

Thought we found a really nice park to take the dog while passing through Bozeman in our campervan. Very rude lady stopped us as we’re walking through the park and told us no camping here. We told her we didn’t plan to spend the night? It was not even 5:00 yet. I guess just having our van parked there was considered camping to her? She told us we had to leave. Lol.

Amazing dog park off the beaten path, but not a far detour from the highway. Wide open space for dogs to run and people to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Nice loop provided a great walk to stretch our legs as we passed through Montana. Thanks to Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter for sponsoring this park!
