Well maintained, paved trails. You can go for miles without encountering another human on some days. Inner trails are well shaded. Playground area is clean with restrooms. Unfortunately some irresponsible dog owners tend to leave dog waste on the trails, so that's one negative. Ample parking available.

This is an amazing park for bike riding running hiking and a great dog park. There is a bmx track also. The bmx is pretty small but they are expanding it! It never seems crowded here and the deer are like pets

This is definitely one of the best and busiest parks in San Antonio. There are tons of trails, some sports parks, and dog parks. These pictures were taken on the Perimeter Loop Trail. The entrance is from Jones Maltsberger and Money Tree. The views are beautiful and you will definitely see lots of deer and a few birds. I would suggest going early because even though the park has different sections parking gets full pretty quick, but it doesn't seem so busy. It's definitely worth a visit. The only cons are the restrooms and water fountains are only located in the beginning of the trails. Also, some trails might be very muddy and there was a section that did warn you about Bees.

We love this park! There is a ton of options for outdoor activity. We regularly use the paved trails to ride bikes, but there are plenty of people walking too. Within the grounds there are at least two playground sets and numerous ball fields. Presently they are rebuilding a pump track for BMX riders. Let's not forget about the wildlife. Not only will you hear birds chirping the whole time you will definitely see deer. At the right time of the year you will be treated to fields of bluebonnets. And there is also dog parks within the park. It is nice too that you see park police patrolling the area. I highly recommend this park for your outdoor activities. You'll find space to do what you want to do!

This park is great for everyone. Lord of trails for walking, biking, I've seen people bring their ATVs out there, and a really cool pump track which I like to drive my rc truck on when no ones there. There's playgrounds, baseball fields and soccer fields. Most of the time as I enter the park I see deer and they don't seem too afraid of people because they're next to the road and trails. This park is about 900 acres so there's so much to explore that you can't do it on just 1 or 2 trips. I can't wait until they finish the pump track that they've been working on because it looks huge and lots of fun.
