Lovely little loop, super easy walk. I believe the main trail is roughly a mile, maybe 1.2 miles. Dog and child friendly! My 3 year old walks it no problem. Sometimes find fun painted rocks people leave hidden around the trails!

Can confirm the loop is doable with a stroller. We even got a double stroller through it. There’s some rougher spots and it would be hard when rainy/muddy but it wasn’t too bad for us and made taking toddlers easier. Super beautiful in there and peaceful. Will be returning.

SO many mushrooms! I have never seen this many varieties of mushrooms in one location. Granted I've never really gone looking. It was kind of magical. The trail is a loop that's tucked away on the opposite side of the parking lot from the athletic fields. Lots of people seemed to be out enjoying the trail. Many had their dogs with them. It's a beautiful easy trail for a stroll or a run. It's a dirt trail and we went after it had been raining. A few spots were a little muddy but not too bad at all. We went at the end of November just to satisfy the itch to take pics of mushrooms and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. 🍄🍂 Highly recommend!

Great for mushroom foraging in the fall. There is also a pair of Ravens that hang out around the forest and they make some wild sounding calls at each other, and there is a green man residing in the forest loop as well. 😶‍🌫️

My first visit was today and it was so incredibly peaceful I plan on making it a regular stop. I live in Mays Pond and didn't even know this existed. The walk is incredible the explanation signs are very helpful and there are even restrooms in the gift shop.
