This park is a great place to have a picnic, family reunion, play tennis, play baseball, & walk. There's a big playground & dog park. There are bathrooms picnic tables, covered tables and paved walking trails. There are benches all along the trail.

Specifically reviewing the dog park! It was great! There are large trees that provide a good amount of shade which makes a big difference in the heat. There are sections for both large and small dogs and each of those has two areas: one dirt filled area with tables and dog obstacles and another big grassy area. Bring a bowl for your dog! There are places to fill up with water, but not many bowls in the park (I only saw one and it may have belonged to someone rather than being a park bowl). Will be going back!

I love how clean mcdonald Park is. The playground is nice and the equipment is up to date. The dog park is nice. I wish there were more obstacles for dogs, though. 10/10 recommend

The playground was great for all ages! There is also a lovely path on which you can see various local flora and fauna. There were lizards, cool spiders, bird, bugs and many flowering and fruiting plants.

Best park for children in Tucson, AZ. Plenty of sun coverage, two play areas for babies and or older children. The people and community that visit here are incredibly welcoming.
