I recently visited this park again, and it reminded me why I’ve always liked it so much. It’s a beautiful, open space—perfect for a peaceful walk and some fresh air. The setting itself is still just as enjoyable as ever. However, during this visit I was also reminded of an ongoing issue that affects the overall experience. There are still people who allow their dogs to roam off leash without having proper control over them. I noticed several dogs running freely and not responding to their owners, which created a tense and unpredictable atmosphere. It’s concerning because situations like that can quickly escalate and potentially lead to someone getting hurt. To avoid the chaos, I found that going early in the day makes a big difference. Weekends, in particular, tend to get crowded and much more hectic. Overall, it’s a wonderful park, but choosing the right time to visit is key if you’re hoping for a calm and safe experience.
This park is a hidden park placed behind two rows of houses. It features lots of trees and a long corridor for walking and bringing your pets. Some of the houses are open and beautifully designed which makes this park unique! Sunday's there is tai chi classes and at the end there is a large little library. One of my favorite parks because it is hidden. You have to go and find it.
Pros: generally well kept, quiet, shady trees, free library. Cons: most dogs not leashed which is hard for my anxious dog, and hard to find the park at first, and only 1 true place to sit. See pic#1 for what entry looks like. I'd go again though.
