I have mixed feelings about this park. It has many great features. But it is lacking some care and maintenance. It has a full basketball court, baseball backstop, open field for other sports, a good size play ground and even a Little Free Library. It has a lot of graffiti on the playground. Besides that, I will definitely return. All the people at the park were kind and respectful.
Beautiful park. My son Mason has been coming here since he was 1 years old. Now he's 3 and still till this day .wants to go daily. He has met Amazing kids around his age . That have become his friend and love playing with him. Met amazing parents and also had made some friends. Overall a beautiful park to bring the kids . Just wish they had a restroom.
McKinnon Park in Salinas is a hidden gem! 🌳📚 The park's natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere are perfect for a relaxing day out. What makes it even more special is the free small library where you can pick up a book to read – it adds a charming touch to the experience. 📖🏞️ Highly recommended for a serene escape into nature with a good book in hand
Actually, in searching for a close park to walk the dog, McKinnon Park popped up in the directory. Unfortunately, there’s a sign right at the gate that specifies, quite clearly, that NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED at all.
It's a really awesome park. A really great place to take kids and play soccer. This park has a big field, basketball court, and playground. I also love how there's a place where you can leave books and borrow books. I like to come here with my nephew to play soccer. I also like to come here to eat pizza at the park since there are a few tables.
