First time in Hayward! I saw this place on tiktok, its a cute park. It was miday on Saturday and was not packed. I saw several families have a get-together/ parties, which was very nice to see. There was street parking available but thankfully I drove in the back and saw the park itself has a parking lot. That felt safer, especially since I saw a park ranger in his car. Next time I'll be sure to bring a blanket so I can properly lay on the grass and relax, its not the biggest park but theres quite alot of space! Many tables in several areas of the park and a playground too! Perfect for picnics, parties, or casual walks.

The mansion itself is beautiful, though we did not go inside. The park has many beautiful trees, including cherry blossoms, and there are benches and a lot of green grass to relax on. The only disappointment was the fountain wasn't running and looked pretty neglected.

I really enjoy this park especially for photography. Park ranger never enforces vehicles taking up handicap spaces without placards. I also don’t enjoy having to keep children quiet, they have a lot of signs stating to keep noise down because of neighbors. If you’re looking to enjoy the weekend with children or have bbq/parties it’s best to go to another park. Neighbors will call the police.
