Melton Peter Demetre Park is a beautiful hidden gem with incredible harbor views. It’s a peaceful spot to walk along the shoreline, look for shells at low tide, and enjoy the scenery without the crowds. The views of the Ravenel Bridge, sailboats, and marsh wildlife are stunning, and it feels quiet and tucked away despite being close to the city. A perfect place to slow down, explore, and take in Charleston’s natural beauty.

A great scenic spot. We often see dolphins. There is a decent bit of green space to walk you dog. There are a few picnic tables that are covered. There is also a restroom at the entrance with a water fountain. No sink available.

This was my second time fishing from the dock here. Awesome view, dolphins fishing near the shore and just an incredible view all around. Enjoyed my time there very much.

Beautiful hidden gem nestled in a wonderful neighborhood. The scenery is astounding especially in the evenings. It's dog friendly with benches and restrooms and a very lovely beach! Definitely don't forget the bug spray in the evenings though!!

Beautiful park with great views. Perfect for collecting sea shells. Lots of dogs playing around so incredibly pet friendly.
