This is the perfect place for getting out of the city, without actually having to get out, if that make any sense. It’s the green heart of Miami Springs. Extremely peaceful, and relaxing. You can sit and relax, jog around, take your dog for a walk…all in a perfect safe environment. I love to come and sit here in the afternoons and watch the sun go down surrounded by all this nature. It just makes me happy.
Great river festival. There are plenty of food trucks. Great music
Nice small city centrally located within Miami Dade county
The pedestrian walkway in the center of Curtis Parkway is a gorgeous, shady nature walk! I walk there daily. It is rarely crowded. It is always safe. The people are friendly. I usually see neighbors on skates, bicycles or walking their pooches. Please, stop at the Geiger Memorial and read some interesting history.
Great area!
