Mills Park is a hidden gem in Oak Park for wedding photography! The greenery is lush, and the benches offer charming spots for intimate portraits. Its location right in front of the Carleton Hotel makes it convenient for couples getting married or hosting events nearby. The park’s peaceful vibe and beautiful landscaping create the perfect backdrop for timeless photos. Highly recommend for anyone planning a wedding or engagement session in the area!
This is a nice little park. It doesn't feel as big as Austin Gardens but it's nice. There are plenty of benches. Lots of people with out with their dogs. I wish I would have caught it in the spring. It potentially has some cool flowera to look at. It also has a historical building but I didn't get to go in this time.
It’s beautiful over here at all times of the year. Open and slightly hilly. The step stones that tell the story of the oak park area from pre historic to modern is fun and would be nice for kids. Chairs made of stone and wood benches. Right in the park is the historic Pleasant Home. Squirrels are APLENTY here lol it’s fun watching them run around. Great place to go read and relax.
One of my favorite parks to photograph my clients at. There's easy to find parking, plenty of space to distance + stay safe during Covid. We recently moved to OP so I can't wait to enjoy picnics in the Spring & Summer with my family.
This is a cozy neighborhood park near our hotel in Oak Park. It is a relaxing place to watch the community's residents enjoy an early summer evening. Happiest among them are cavorting tots and pet dogs on their walks. There are plenty of scampering squirrels.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
