Minooka Park Mountain Bike Trail Head

We brought our 9 and 11 year old kids here. First took them through the green beginner trail . The blue and the green trails start together. The green beginner course forks to the right and the blue intermediate to the left. The green trail has some fun, simple obstacles but was mostly turns. Perfect for beginners. Our kids were up for another go round so when the end of the green trail split we took the right fork to go again (the left fork would have brought us back to the parking lot). Next we tackled the blue intermediate trail. That course had several large obstacles each with a go around for less experienced riders. The blue trail eventually joins the green trail again and they finish together. My photo shows the start of the trail. Left side is starting, right is returning. We'll definitely be back 👍🏻

This is a great mountain bike trail that is well maintained. Signage is easy to follow even for people who are new to the trail.

Plenty of parking. Bicycle wash station and air. Flushing toilets.

My wife seen online that the food trucks were going to be over at Minooka. My wife went over there just to find the food trucks. She drove in looked around trying to find the trucks, after finding no trucks she left I guess it took 22 mins to drive the whole park. A month later we are charged for her going to the park this is ridiculous. As the only reason for being there was the food trucks which weren’t there.

Very well laid out. Heated bathrooms that are open year round. Washing station for muddy bikes. Love it in the summer when the "Tap Yard" is open .
