This place is big. There’s a nice walking trail more than a mile long around the park, exercise stations, playgrounds, baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, and a nice skate park. They even have an RC track. Very nice place for some family fun or to get a little exercise.

The park is 3/4 teeming with life with an assortment of habitat such as geese, ducks and squirrels clustered around the creek. Add the pleasant people walking their dogs into the mix. The other 1/4 is reminiscent of what you would see on The Walking Dead—abandoned tennis, basketball and handball courts from a bygone era. Add the concession stands by the baseball diamonds that appear to be disused and from a time when people got out on the weekends and away from their electronic devices. This park needs some TLC and it seems the City of Reno let it fall apart despite an onsite maintenance garage. The city of Reno should restore this park as it has a lot of potential and is located in the residential but geographically isolated eastern part of city limits due to being separated from the rest of the city by the airport.

Did a dog date here! There is so much green grass and shade, it's very clean, the doggo was so so happy and loved the time we spent here! I enjoyed it as well.

My children grew up playing across the street at Mira Loma Park so I can tell you everything you need to know. We have a huge skate park 🛹 for the teens and adults a playground for the toddlers with a super cool jungle gym and swing set. Mira Loma Park has a baseball ⚾️ and soccer ⚽️ field along with our mile and a quarter walk path with exercise challenges. The bathrooms are open seasonally and only open during the day. Parking is limited during games so get a spot early. There is a shopping center across from Mira Loma Park with a Raley’s and many restaurants to grab lunch and have a nice picnic 🧺

Paved walking path that goes around the perimeter of the park. Slow moving creek with water birds on the northern end of the park provides some nature. The skate park is pretty big with multiple features. There is even a RC car race track with multiple jumps.
