If you like the beach, but don't want to go where the tourist hang out, then RaT beach is the place. Much quieter and tranquil. If you are lucky you might get to see a pod of dolphins swim past.

Very nice, lots of places to walk with great views. Stairs or ramps to the beach. Short term parking, if available $2 hour or all day $7. We noticed a few dolphins just off the beach.

These pics are views from park. It’s clean and maintained nicely. I like that it’s a great option to be almost “at the beach” but not have to go down on the sand. Also dogs are allowed in the park but dogs aren’t allowed on sand of beach so I can sit with my dog after a walk, those bathrooms on the beach are nice to be close to as well

One of my favorite parks to visit by the ocean with terrific views. There’s usually a lot of friendly people and dogs. Fluffy grass too spread out a towel for a picnic. There is restrooms and plenty of parking you can go on a long walk around the park. There is beach access from stairs and a ramp. Children can play on a seal sculpture.

One of the more quiet beaches in the socal area. This has free parking for disabled placards M-F otherwise 6 on weekends. Multiple paths to go down even for wheelchair access. Plenty of room for parking and even some street parking if you are early.
