A quaint and peaceful park with a gigantic historical tree. A great place to sit and indulge the beautiful setting with a view of the San BuenaVentura Mission, great photo shoot opportunities in the fountain promenade and adjacent to the Museum of Ventura County.
Lovely part in downtown next to the Museum and across from the Basilica. It's relaxed, has great parking, and a good place to take the dog for a run or to relax with a bottle of rosé.
It's cleaner than before. On Mondays the bathrooms stay close. Great place to do yoga, play catch, soccer and other stuff. During events this park is used and gets full. Great view to the mission. Two lovely water fountains, great photo opportunity. Perfect for picnics.
Mission Park is located on Main Street across from Ventura Mission and next to Ventura Musuem. Although not a huge green space, it's large enough for kids to run around and for a picnic or bit of quiet time. Pick up picnic supplies at nearby Paradise Pantry or stop by after your free visit to the museum. On Saturday, during the farmer's market, there are family activities and games available for families. Keep in mind that bathroom cleanliness is not always up to par.
Small park, nice open space. Huge tree, good view of the mission, public bathrooms.
