A great new park and recreation area to explore. Many things to do for all ages and of course the dam across the Mighty Mississippi! Plan to spend several hours at this new and exciting park. Also check out the new archery range and dog park too.

Great place to take the family do a little fishing, not much for walking but there is a great ice cream shop within walking distance from pretty much anywhere from the boat landing to the danm it's right in between 2 scoops is the name if I remember correctly awesome place you have to check it out, the wife is bigger fisher than me, loves to fish would do it sun up to sun down daily if she could I always joke about her getting a sugar daddy with a nice boat because I'll never be able to afford a cheap one, :) but in reality im not joking she deserves to be able to experience a real fishing trip she's an awesome person does nothing for herself but everything for others so it's kinda a bummer that no matter how hard I try it's pretty much out of reach so anyways anyone want to take a, fun bait her own hook kind of gal on a fishing trip let me know I'd let her go in a heartbeat wow that was quite the rant anyways awesome place can catch a fish or 2 not only did the wife catch her first pike but she was reeling in a sunny when the pike hit pretty happy girl she was

I'm from Mississippi, so to be able to go wayyyy up here and see it and how beautiful I loved it. So peaceful and calm, a great place to sit and read or ride a bike to. Just to have a little nice getaway! I would definitely go back and sit.

My family enjoyed the Twin Cities Water Rats water ski show, free every Thursday night. Highly recommend checking it out!
